Doug Shelburne founded Shelburne Environmental Management, Inc. in 1995 following his experience in the chemical and environmental engineering industries. His decision to form the Shelburne Group was in response to what he perceived as a need for a quality, highly responsive company that could assist small and large facilities with their EPA, OSHA, and DOT problems. Mr. Shelburne holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and a Masters in Business Administration.

Coordinated operational and business aspects of developing and implementing new manufacturing plant that was vital to company's long-term, strategic business plan. Also responsible for the operation of Hazardous Waste Incinerator.

Associate Production Engineer (Operations Supervisor) - Responsible for operation and management of propane cracking facility for production of ethylene.

Shipping Superintendent - Responsibilities included planning and controlling safe loading and transport (barge, tank car, and trucking) of all finished products while maintaining stringent quality control and managing safe operation of Hazardous Waste Facility. Member of Hazardous Materials Response Team.

Masters Certified Hazardous Materials Manager - Cert. No. 3473 (Issued by the Institute of Hazardous Material Managers after successfully passing the CHMM Examination and meeting experience qualifications).
